NHTSA's summary
12153B - Service Update (expiration date extended). When the interior of these vehicles becomes hot, communication to the infotainment system may be lost. This can cause loss of the infotainment audio, steering wheel switch controls, display of radio information such as song and artist information, and steering wheel switch backlighting. This condition may correct itself when the vehicle is turned off and if the interior of vehicle cools. However, the condition may continue to occur in the future. Dealers are to inspect and, if necessary, replace the instrument cluster.
