Service bulletin 122-S7Y6Y-06

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

NHTSA's summary

Concerns: Tire Pressure Monitoring control unit (referred to below as "TPM control unit") Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. High speeds (> 165mph/270 km/h) can cause an implausible warning message due to a software error in the TPM control unit. If this happens, the warning message "Tire pressure! Reduce speed" appears in the instrument cluster, although no pressure loss has occurred in the tire.

122-P6P7K-102017-11-08. Service bulletin. There is increased friction in the air spring compressor valves at temperatures below ?13° F (?25° C). This can result in a situation in which the maximum control current is not sufficient to actuate the valves. As a result, a warning message will be displayed in the instrument cluster and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) will stop working temporarily. Re-program PASM control unit using the PIWIS Tester with software version 33.010.030 (PIWIS Tester 3) or version 17.100.030 (PIWIS Tester II) or a higher software version installed.
122-C8W5T-062017-09-14. Service bulletin. Concerns: Charging electronics Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. Implausible fault entries can be stored in the fault memory on the affected vehicles even though there is no fault in the system due to a software error in the charging electronics.
122-J5A5S-052017-09-14. Service bulletin. Concerns: High-voltage battery control unit Information: This is to inform you of a voluntary Workshop Campaign on the above-mentioned vehicles. New software for the high-voltage battery control unit is available for the affected vehicles. This software improves or corrects the following: The temperature of the high-voltage battery is monitored by two temperature sensors for each cell module. The current diagnostic setup of the high-voltage system does not allow for this redundancy and causes the warning message "Hybrid system failure - Park vehicle safely" to be displayed in the instrument cluster if one temperature sensor fails even though the temperature of the cell module is still monitored reliably by the remaining sensor.
