Service bulletin 15-001-16-3126

A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

Other bulletins for the same vehicles and component
09014162022-06-06. Service bulletin. White Milky stains on inner surface of headlight lens
09-014-21-3802a2021-10-31. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit a crack in the lower center area of the windshield. This may be caused by fixtures located at the center of the cowl grille, which result in higher pressures applied to the windshield. When small pebbles/rocks are caught between the cowl grille and the windshield, deep scratches can lead to a crack in the windshield. To prevent this concern in the future, the cowl grille will be modified to reduce the pressure to the windshield.
09-014-16-3132a2021-01-28. Service bulletin. Some vehicles equipped with LED or Discharge type headlights may exhibit white milky stains on the inner sur-face of the headlight lens. Some customers may complain of the poor appearance. This concern is caused by gas that emits from a gasket in the lamp unit. The gas adheres to the inner surface of the headlight lens and reacts with the anti-clouding coating and moisture in the air to create white milky stains. The gasket material has been improved to eliminate this concern.
SA3902021-01-25. Service bulletin. Excessive water intrusion or condensation of Halogen headlight
09-026-19-36132019-08-02. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit the cushion tape (1) attached to the front end of dashboard coming off and showing at the base of the windshield. This is caused by the cushion tape peeling off from the end(s) due to interference with the windshield and vehicle vibration (CX-5/Mazda6) or from the gap between the dashboard and the cushion tape because there there is no rib (1) at the dashboard ends (Mazda3). To prevent the tape from peeling off, both ends of the cushion tape are now folded over to the back side of the dashboard (CX-5/Mazda6) or stapled (Mazda3).
09-003-19-3555a2019-03-20. Service bulletin. Some customers may complain of condensation/fog inside the front (headlamp/headlight) or rear (taillamp/taillight) combination lights. The recent new models have been fitted with a clear lens which can cause the symptom to be more noticeable, however, it does not affect the performance of the light. This condensation/fog is a natural phenomenon that occurs when there is a fairly large temperature difference between the inside and the outside of the light housing. It is normal for very small water drops to appear in certain locations on the light units where the air is stagnant (condensation), making the lens look whitish (fog). This happens mostly in the corners and narrow spaces, and will typically clear during warmer ambient temperatures, or when the lights have been on for some time.
09-041-18-35332018-12-17. Service bulletin. Some customers may notice water entry into the front combination lights. This is due to poor sealing where rain or other water can enter inside the light. To eliminate this concern, the shape of the front combination light has been changed to improve sealing ability.
SA-023-182018-07-02. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may have DTC C1001:92 stored in memory. DTC C1001:92 sets as a past record for low visibility of the Forward Sensing Camera (FSC). It does not mean there is an actual FSC defect. In some cases the customer may have a concern with the Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) and/or High Beam Control system (HBC). In other cases this DTC might be found without a related customer concern.NOTE: Instrument Cluster Multi-Information Display Warning Messages vary depending on vehicle year/model. See the Owner's Manual for details.
