"ISSUE: REPORTS OF A MALFUNCTION OF THE TCM (TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE) AND GSM (GEAR SELECTOR MODULE) TO INITIALISE CORRECTLY, RESULTING IN INCORRECT REPLACEMENT OF THE GSM. REPORTED SYMPTOMS WILL BE A GEARBOX FAULT ON THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MESSAGE CENTRE AND UNABLE TO SHIFT THE TRANSMISSION OUT OF PARK. CAUSE: EPRL (EMERGENCY PARK RELEASE LEVER) PULLED WITH THE IGNITION IN THE OFF POSITION. NOTE: IF THIS EPRL IS PULLED WITH THE IGNITION SWITCHED ON, THE INITIALISATION ERROR WILL NOT OCCUR."
