THIS PRELIMINARY INFORMATION COMMUNICATION PROVIDES INFORMATION TO THE TECHNICIAN REGARDING VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ENGINE REGULAR PRODUCTION OPTION CODE LEA, LCV, AND LKW MAY HAVE A SERVICE ENGINE SOON LAMP WITH DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE P015A SET. IF THE SERVICE INFORMATION FOR DIAGNOSTIC INSTRUCTION FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE P015A WAS COMPLETED INSPECT THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL FOR BEING OVERFILLED. IF THE ENGINE OIL LEVEL IS FOUND TO BE OVERFILLED, READJUST TO CORRECT LEVEL AND RE-EVALUATE THE CONCERN. IF THE STEPS DO NOT LEAD TO A RESOLUTION, ADVISE THE CUSTOMER THAT ENGINEERING IS AWARE OF THIS CONCERN AND IS WORKING ON A REPAIR.
