Service bulletin RF-14-04
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

ENGINE NO START AND / OR REAR VIEW MONITOR DISPLAY IS BLURRY DUE TO AFTERMARKET ELECTRICAL DEVICE: Some customers may complain about the following: Engine no start. A blurry rear view monitor display. This may be caused by an aftermarket accessory device. | 09-041-17-3390 | 2017-11-14. Service bulletin. Some vehicles may exhibit a white stain (A) running down the front door(s), which originates from under the outer door mirror. This is caused when water (containing white corrosion) is generated inside the door mirror base (B), then drains down the door panel causing a poor appearance concern. The door mirror base was originally designed to drain water to the outside of the door. The shape of the door mirror base gasket has been modified to drain water to the inside of the door. Replacing the gasket should eliminate this concern. |
| 09-032-15-3061 | 2017-06-07. Service bulletin. SOME VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A VIBRATION FROM THE DRIVER-SIDE POWER DOOR MIRROR GLASS WHEN THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN AT HIGH SPEEDS. THIS CONCERN MAY BE DUE TO A LACK OF RIGIDITY OF THE MIRROR BASE SO THE MIRROR VIBRATES WHEN IT RECEIVES VEHICLE VIBRATION OR WIND PRESSURE. AN ADDITIONAL REINFORCEMENT HAS BEEN INSTALLED INSIDE THE DOOR TO INCREASE THE DOOR PANEL STRENGTH WHERE THE DOOR MIRROR IS MOUNTED. ALSO, THE DOOR MIRROR SHAPE HAS BEEN CHANGED. BOTH OF THESE MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN IMPLEMENTED TO ELIMINATE MIRROR GLASS VIBRATION CONCERNS. |
