Service bulletin TSB-34-13-17
A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it. The summary is NHTSA's. The document is the manufacturer's: read it at NHTSA. A bulletin is not a recall, and listing a model year does not mean every vehicle of it is concerned.

| 34 13 17 2029069 | 2022-05-31. Service bulletin. Transmission gear display illuminated |
| 37 13 09 2028715 | 2022-05-02. Service bulletin. After a mechatronics, torque converter, or complete gearbox replacement, the clutches must be adapted to the new component. This requires a gradual move of the clutch linings toward the optimal operating points in the most diverse load conditions. As a result, sporadic driving power disruptions lasting for less than a second or reduced shift comfort are possible over the first 500 miles. This is normal, and these issues will decrease over time. The issues can also occur if the adaptation values of the gearbox were deleted. |
| 34 13 17 2029069 | 2022-05-02. Service bulletin. Customer states that the gear display is illuminated in cluster. Vehicle may exhibit a shudder condition on first acceleration from a stop. The following fault entry is logged in the transmission control module (TCM), J217 (address word 02):19143 P2711 004 (Unexpected Mechanical Gear Disengagement) |
| A1720062028440_5 | 2020-08-06. Service bulletin. This informational bulletin explains when the range display is empty in the on-board computer. |
| A681310 2034517- | 2017-12-05. Service bulletin. While driving the vehicle, the customer hears various noises coming from the center console area. The noises are caused by too tight of a tolerance between the lower and upper portion of the center console. |
| A171568 2028440- | 2017-11-17. Service bulletin. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 17 number 14-49 dated April 3, 2014. When the vehicle is completely refueled, the vehicle range (?distance to empty?) that is displayed is different than the vehicle range that was displayed the last time the vehicle was completely refueled. The displayed vehicle range drops inconsistently. After the vehicle is refueled, the displayed vehicle range does not change for a long period of time. When the vehicle is driven on hilly roads for a long period of time, the displayed vehicle range suddenly changes by a significant amount. There are no DTCs related to fuel senders stored in the instrument cluster control module, J285 (address word 17). This condition does not involve or affect the accuracy of the fuel level indicator, but only the estimated distance to empty display on the on-board computer. |

| A971442 2036764- | 2017-11-08. Service bulletin. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 97 number 14-41 dated March 18, 2014. The MIL is on. Vehicle will not start. DTC P068A00 is stored in the engine control module (ECM), J623 (address word 01). Numerous unrelated DTCs are also stored in the system, including: P056200, P057100, P068700, P068A00, P162400, P190C00, U010000, U010100, U012100, U014600, U015500, U021200, U101100, U102600, U111100, U111300, U140000, VAG00003, VAG00185, VAG00263, VAG00317, VAG00384, VAG00446, VAG00456, VAG00457, VAG00466, VAG00473, VAG00532, VAG00565, VAG00591, VAG00714, VAG00819, VAG00955, VAG01217, VAG01299, VAG01314, VAG01315, VAG01317, VAG01320, VAG01330, VAG01331, VAG01332, VAG01334, VAG01333, VAG01336, VAG01705, VAG01964, VAG02067, VAG02072, VAG02095, VAG02103, VAG02203, VAG02214, VAG02635, VAG02812, VAG02874, VAG03041, VAG03157, VAG03166, VAG03220, VAG03278, and/or VAG03531. The motronic engine control module power supply relay, J271, is not functioning properly. Because the J271 relay controls battery voltage (Terminal 30) via a ground signal sent from the ECM, numerous faults can occur in multiple control modules when it is not functioning properly. |
| A341317 2029069- | 2017-10-31. Service bulletin. Supersedes Technical Service Bulletin Group 30 number 12-14 dated August 6, 2012. Customer states that the gear display is illuminated in cluster. Vehicle may exhibit a shudder condition on first acceleration from a stop. fault entry is logged in the transmission control module (TCM). This TSB only applies if entry 19143 P2711 004 is logged and the vehicle has over 18,500 miles on the odometer. If there are other complaints, this TSB does not apply. The TCM recognizes that drag torque on the clutch is too high. |
