SSM 524762024-05-03. Service bulletin. All accessory stick-on keyless entry keypads come with a wallet card containing the master code. If the accessory keypad was factory installed, this card will be placed in the glove box and should be handed to the vehicles owner during initial delivery. Unlike the integrated (wired) factory keypad, the accessory keypad master code cannot be retrieved from the vehicle using a diagnostic scan tool. If the wallet card for an accessory keypad is lost, follow these steps to recover the code. Dealer Key Code access is granted through the Dealer Program Enrollment System (DPES); dealership management can authorize users. The authorized user must go to FMCDealer.com > Parts and Service > Parts Product Line Information > Keys/Entry Devices > Aftermarket Keyless Entry Keypad Code Access. Follow the instructions on the screen to obtain the master code for the accessory keypad.

No Authorization Pop-up will be displayed on the center display screen during the Authorization process. The vehicle may also not have proper functionality of remote app features such as remote start, return odometer, fuel information, or vehicle location incorrect in the app. This may be due to the SYNC software. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to toggle Valet Mode.
SSM 506362022-03-29. Service bulletin. 2011-2022 F-Super Duty and 2016-2023 F-650/F-750 vehicles equipped with a 6.7L engine may exhibit an elevated idle condition. During prolonged idle time, vehicles may experience this elevated idle to reduce unburned hydrocarbons from the SCR. The powertrain control module estimates hydrocarbon levels in the SCR and may increase idle speed to remove them. Idle speed will be increased to 1000 RPM for ambient temperatures near 26°C (80°F) and may increase to 1200 RPM at -40 °C (-40°F). Vehicles may exhibit exhaust smoke and diesel exhaust fluid smell during elevated idle condition. Exhaust smoke and smell condition will not affect reliability or durability of the engine. Power take-off (PTO) use and idle set point control will disable elevated speed. It is required that the operator monitor the vehicle and adhere to any Exhaust Filter warning messages.

Certain 2013-2016 Model Year F-Series Super Duty 6.7L Diesel and 2015-2019 Model Year Transit 3.2L Diesel Vehicles – Rear NOx Sensor Warranty Extension In all of the affected vehicles, the onboard diagnostic (OBD) system initially contained a software error that prevented illumination of the malfunction indicator light (MIL) if a certain fault was present in the front or rear nitrogen oxide (NOx) sensor or in the Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) system. Since the PCM was reprogrammed under Emissions Recall 21E01, the OBD system is now able to detect this NOx sensor fault previously masked by the software error and can light the MIL if this fault is found to be present
