If this happens, the driver may experience a change in brake pedal feel and travel. This can cause reduced braking.\nNote: A brake fluid leak would cause the brake warning light to turn on. This recall doesn't affect models with a Hybrid engine. Vehicles repaired under Ford warranty extension program 22N02 already have updated brake hoses, and don't require this repair.\n\nSafety Risk:\nReduced braking can cause an extended stopping distance and increase the risk of a crash.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nFord will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front brake hoses.","mfr_campaign":"23S12","units":63269,"do_not_drive":null,"park_outside":null,"notification":"Safety TC","match":"exact","models":["FUSION"],"built_from":null,"built_to":null,"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/recalls/tc/2023132"},{"source":"nhtsa","country":"us","campaign":"23V162000","date":"2023-03-10","manufacturer":"Ford Motor Company","component":"SERVICE BRAKES, HYDRAULIC:FOUNDATION COMPONENTS:HOSES, LINES/PIPING, AND FITTINGS","summary":"Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2013-2018 Fusion and Lincoln MKZ vehicles.
