If the pinpoint test RC leads to an inconclusive direction, clear the DTCs with the appropriate Ford diagnostic scan tool and schedule a follow-up appointment for service in early November. Inform the customer that engineering is working to implement a solution for this condition and advise the customer that they can continue to drive the vehicle. Once the solution becomes available, contact the customer and confirm the service appointment is going forward.
