The PDK control unit can sometimes be misdiagnosed on the affected vehicles due to a software error if the engine is switched off in selector-lever positions \"P\" or \"D\" and is then re-started again in selector-lever position \"N\". As a result, fault code \"P1772 - Gear valve 2 stuck on pressure\" is stored in the fault memory of the PDK control unit and the PDK transmission switches to the reduced driving program until the ignition is switched off and on again.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2012/MC-10109303-9999.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2012/MC-10109303-0001.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10109303"}],"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/makes/porsche/911/2012/bulletins?code=P1772"},"related":{"components":[],"bulletins":[],"recalls":{"may_apply":true,"recalls":[],"lookup":{"nhtsa":"https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls","tc":"https://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/7/VRDB-BDRV/search-recherche/menu.aspx?lang=eng","maker":null}}},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/makes/porsche/911/2012/codes/P1772","note":"The bulletins listed name this code in NHTSA's summary, or are about the same components.
