This could cause excessive heat on the circuit board and uncontrolled electric current output, which can result in insufficient charging current being provided to the vehicle's battery.  Battery discharge could lead to engine stalling and/or a no-start condition.  Lost propulsion, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the rider's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.  Correction: Dealers will replace the regulator/rectifier assembly.
