However, If the open circuit condition corrects itself within 30 seconds of its initiation the engine calibration misinterprets this event by going into a \"limp home mode\" where the\nengine speed is increased from low idle speed to the high idle speed of 1200 rpm. This increase to high idle speed may occur without warning causing a sudden and unexpected shift in vehicle position possibly resulting in property damage, personal injury or death. Correction: Dealers will install an updated engine calibration.","mfr_campaign":"10512","units":409,"do_not_drive":null,"park_outside":null,"notification":"Safety Mfr","match":"exact","models":["4200"],"built_from":null,"built_to":null,"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/recalls/tc/2010202"},{"source":"nhtsa","country":"us","campaign":"10V267000","date":"2010-06-15","manufacturer":"NAVISTAR, INC","component":"VEHICLE SPEED CONTROL","summary":"NAVISTAR IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2003 THROUGH 2010 INTERNATIONAL TRUCKS AND IC COMMERCIAL BUSES MANUFACTURED FROM DECEMBER 4, 2001 THROUGH DECEMBER 14, 2009 EQUIPPED WITH INTERNATIONAL VT365 ENGINES HAVING ENGINE CALIBRATION PAN2PVR0, PAN2PVR1, OR PAN2PWR.
