These stresses could eventually create open cracks in the cylinder block or result in less than adequate clamping pressure around the plug. When the plug loses it's clamping pressure, it will loosen from the cavity, causing an oil leak. This leakage of oil, near the exhaust manifold and turbocharger has the potential to ignite and cause a fire in the engine compartment. Correction: Cummins will install a steel cup plug boss cap which is attached over the boss/cup plug location with industrial sealant.","mfr_campaign":"04KW4, 804-D","units":2,"do_not_drive":null,"park_outside":null,"notification":"Safety Mfr","match":"exact","models":["330"],"built_from":null,"built_to":null,"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/recalls/tc/2004296"},{"source":"nhtsa","country":"us","campaign":"04V406000","date":"2004-08-17","manufacturer":"PACCAR INCORPORATED","component":"ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING","summary":"ON CERTAIN TRUCKS BUILT WITH CUMMINS ISC AND ISL ENGINES, PLUGS WERE ASSEMBLED INCORRECTLY CREATING STRESS AND CRACKS WHICH COULD CAUSE AN OIL LEAK.","mfr_campaign":"04KW4 & 804-D","units":106,"do_not_drive":false,"park_outside":false,"notification":null,"match":"exact","models":["330"],"built_from":"2004-01-27","built_to":"2004-04-23","url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/recalls/nhtsa/04V406000"},{"source":"nhtsa","country":"us","campaign":"03V306000","date":"2003-08-22","manufacturer":"PACCAR INCORPORATED","component":"ENGINE AND ENGINE COOLING:COOLING SYSTEM:FAN","summary":"ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH CATERPILLAR C7 OR 3126E 2002 ENGINES AND HORTON FAN HUBS, THE FAN HUB MOUNTING BOLTS CAN FAIL RESULTING IN THE HUB AND FAN ASSEMBLY SEPARATING FROM THE ENGINE.
