This problem could also cause the high beams to turn on when a turn signal is activated, or a turn signal to turn on when the high beams are turned on.\n\nSafety Risk:\nTurn signals that stay on or flash in the opposite direction after making a turn or changing lanes could create confusion for others. High beams that turn on when a turn signal is activated could cause reduced visibility and/or glare for oncoming drivers. These issues could increase the risk of a crash.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nFCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to bring your vehicle to a dealer to update the steering control module software.
