As a result, the lug nuts could loosen or fall off. If this happens, a wheel could separate from the vehicle.\n\nSafety Risk:\nA wheel separation could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nFord advises not to drive your vehicle until the wheel lug nuts have been inspected and tightened properly. Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to contact a local dealer to arrange for this inspection.
