If this happens, a wheel could be mis-aligned or there could be a loss of control and a wheel could separate.\n\nSafety Risk:\nA loss of control and/or a wheel separation could increase the risk of a crash. A wheel that separates could also hit another person or vehicle.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nNissan will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the production date on the casting stamp of the rear axle housings.
