This could cause fuel to flow directly into the EVAP system when the fuel tank is filled completely. As a result, fuel may leak through the charcoal canister vent. A charcoal canister that is filled with fuel could also cause the engine to stall.\nNote: This problem could cause the malfunction indicator light (MIL) to turn on in the instrument cluster and/or the active driving display.\n\nSafety Risk:\nA fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. An engine that stalls while driving could increase the risk of a crash.\n\nCorrective Actions:\nMazda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the EVAP hose connection inside the fuel tank and reconnect it, if necessary. If the hose is found disconnected, the charcoal canister will also be replaced. You should avoid completely filling the fuel tank until the recall repairs are completed.","consequence":null,"remedy":null,"notes":null,"mfr_campaign":"4520F","part_number":null,"units":2422,"completion":null,"do_not_drive":null,"park_outside":null,"notification":"Safety Mfr","french":{"component":"Système d'alimentation en carburant","notification":"Sécurité - fabricant","summary":"Problème :\nSur certains véhicules équipés d'une transmission intégrale, un tuyau reliant le système d'évaporation des gaz d'échappement (EVAP) au réservoir de carburant pourrait ne pas avoir été installé correctement. Le carburant pourrait alors s'écouler directement dans le système EVAP lorsque le réservoir de carburant est rempli à pleine capacité. Par conséquent, du carburant pourrait s'échapper par l'évent du réservoir à charbon actif. Un réservoir à charbon actif rempli de carburant pourrait également faire caler le moteur.\nRemarque : Ce problème pourrait entraîner l'allumage du témoin d'anomalie (MIL) dans le groupe d'instruments et/ou l'affichage du mode de conduite active.\n\nRisques pour la sécurité :\nUne fuite de carburant peut créer un risque d'incendie. Un moteur qui cale pendant la conduite pourrait augmenter les risques d'accident.\n\nMesures correctives :\nMazda doit aviser les propriétaires par la poste et leur demander d'amener leur véhicule chez un concessionnaire pour inspecter le raccord du tuyau EVAP à l'intérieur du réservoir de carburant et le rebrancher, si nécessaire. Si le tuyau est débranché, la cartouche de charbon de bois sera également remplacée. Vous devez éviter de remplir complètement le réservoir de carburant jusqu'à ce que les réparations de rappel soient terminées."},"vehicles":[{"year":2020,"make":"MAZDA","model":"CX-30","vehicle_id":"2020_mazda_cx-30","match":"exact","built_from":null,"built_to":null}],"may_apply":true,"as_of":"2026-10-19","lookup":{"nhtsa":"https://www.nhtsa.gov/recalls","tc":"https://wwwapps.tc.gc.ca/Saf-Sec-Sur/7/VRDB-BDRV/search-recherche/menu.aspx?lang=eng","maker":null},"attribution":["Contains information licensed under the Open Government Licence – Canada."],"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/recalls/tc/2020265"}
