This could cause an internal control valve to stick open, potentially increasing brake pedal travel and/or stopping distances. This may create an increased risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. Correction: Dealers will flush the brake system with DOT 4 brake fluid. The HCU will then be tested to detect a possible stuck valve condition.
