This could result in the failure of the PODS control module, or misclassification of the front passenger seat occupant, which could prevent proper passenger airbag deployment during a crash where deployment is warranted, potentially increasing the risk of injury to the front passenger seat occupant.  Correction:  Dealers will replace the PODS control module.
