If this occurs, threads may wear, causing the arm to separate which could result in loss of vehicle control. Correction: Dealers will inspect the suspension arm threads for corrosion. If corrosion is found, the arm(s) will be replaced. If no corrosion is found, an epoxy sealer will be applied to the suspension arm to inhibit corrosion. Note: This recall supersedes recall 2012253. Si cela se produisait, les filets pourraient s'user, ce qui causerait le détachement du bras, ce qui pourrait résulter en une perte de contrôle du véhicule. Correction : Les concessionnaires devront inspecter les filets de bras de suspension pour voir s'ils sont corrodés. Si on trouvait de la corrosion, le ou les bras devraient être remplacés. Si on ne trouvait pas de corrosion, un scellant à base d'époxy devrait être appliqué sur le bras de suspension pour empêcher la formation de corrosion. Note : Le présent rappel remplace le rappel 2012253.
