Locating the harness in the incorrect cavity will cause the ABS malfunction indicator lamp to be illuminated at all times.  The ABS brake system will not be affected by this condition, however, if there is a problem with the ABS system the driver will be informed, which could increase the risk of a crash causing property damage, personal injury or death.
