The water vapour produced while the engine is running condenses at the outlet port of the dry-sump oil tank breather.  If temperatures are below 0 degrees Celsius, the condensation can freeze and plug the breather line of the oil tank.  As a result, oil tank over-pressurization can cause the tank to rupture, allowing oil to escape onto the rear wheel and create the risk of a crash causing injuries or death.
