As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, \"Light Vehicle Brake Systems.\"","consequence":"A loss of power brake assist can extend the distance required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.","remedy":"Dealers will replace the hydraulic brake booster supply unit, free of charge.  Interim Owner notification letters were mailed September 22, 2022.  A second letter will be mailed October 31, 2022.  Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 1-800-867-7669.
