The powertrain control module (PCM) functional safety software may fail to detect a software error, resulting in unintended acceleration, unintended deceleration, or a loss of drive power.","consequence":"Unintended acceleration, unintended deceleration, or a loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.","remedy":"The PCM software will be updated by a dealer, or through an over-the-air (OTA) update, free of charge.
