The noise may be more noticeable in ambient temps below 10°C (50°F) and after a cold soak. This noise may also diminish as the transmission warms up. This may be due to the 5th and 6th gear synchronizer rings. The 5th and 6th gear synchronizer rings are now only available in the 6th/5th gear synchronizer assembly (service part number MU7Z-7124-Q). To correct the condition, replace the 6th/5th gear synchronizer. Remove the transmission from the vehicle. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 308-03 > Removal. Disassemble the transmission. Refer to WSM, Section 308-03 > Disassembly. Disassemble the input shaft to gain access to the 6th/5th gear synchronizer. Refer to WSM, Section 308-03 > Disassembly and Assembly of Subassemblies > Input Shaft. Replace the 6th/5th gear synchronizer and assemble the input shaft. Assemble the transmission. Refer to WSM, Section 308-03 > Assembly. Install the transmission.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2026/MC-11032752-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2026/MC-11032752-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11032752","components":[{"id":"powertrain","name":"Transmission and driveline","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"BRONCO","year_from":2021,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2021_ford_bronco","2022_ford_bronco","2023_ford_bronco","2024_ford_bronco"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
