Why the warranty extension? On certain Model Year vehicles, the ignition coil might not operate and meet specifications as intended, potentially illuminating the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (‘MIL’). Any repairs under this warranty extension must be performed by an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership. • If your preferred authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership performs a diagnosis and confirms that your vehicle has the issue, the repair will be performed at no cost to you. • This extended warranty does not apply to any other components or conditions beyond the ones mentioned above, and standard warranty terms apply, including the exclusions with respect to extra expenses, as identified in the Service and Warranty Information booklet.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-11031784-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-11031784-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11031784","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG C63","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG C63 S","year_from":2019,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG C63S","year_from":2018,"year_to":2018,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG E63","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG E63S","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG G63","year_from":2017,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLC63","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLC63S","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GT C","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2018_mercedes-benz_amg-gt","2019_mercedes-benz_amg-gt"]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GT R","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2018_mercedes-benz_amg-gt","2019_mercedes-benz_amg-gt"]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GT ROADSTER","year_from":2018,"year_to":2018,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2018_mercedes-benz_amg-gt"]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GT S","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2018_mercedes-benz_amg-gt","2019_mercedes-benz_amg-gt"]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GT63","year_from":2019,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2019_mercedes-benz_amg-gt"]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GT63S","year_from":2019,"year_to":2019,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2019_mercedes-benz_amg-gt"]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG S63","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"G 550","year_from":2019,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"G550","year_from":2017,"year_to":2018,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"G63","year_from":2017,"year_to":2017,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"S 560 4MATIC","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"S 560 4MATIC COUPE","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-MAYBACH","model":"S 560 4MATIC","year_from":2018,"year_to":2019,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
