DCB223 - N116/5 (Direct current charge connection unit) • P0E8929 - The input current of the on-board DC charging connection unit is too high. There is an invalid signal. • P2BC500 - The contact ''Positive terminal'' of the contactor in the on-board DC current charge-connection unit is jammed closed • P2BCC00 - The contact ''Negative terminal'' of the contactor in the on-board DC current charge-connection unit is jammed closed. Cause • Current ripple due to EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) • Overcurrent or Overvoltage due to EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment) • DCB contactors did not open immediately due to welding time at the end of DC charging Remedy • Check for a new software availability for DCCU (N116/5 - Direct Current Charge connection Unit). If a new software is available, update the software first. • Reset contactor fault through special procedure without password. ( N116/5 >> Special Procedure >> Resetting of contactor fault.) Important Note : • Do not replace component DCB (N116/5) • If fault codes are not erasable, please raise a TIPS case and send it to HQ.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11025534-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11025534-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11025534","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null}],"codes":["P0E89","P1549","P154A","P154B","P2BC5","P2BCC"],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG E 53 4MATIC+ WAGON","year_from":2025,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG E53E","year_from":2023,"year_to":2023,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG S 63 E 4MATIC+","year_from":2023,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"EQB 250+","year_from":2023,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"EQB 300 4MATIC","year_from":2022,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"EQB 350 4MATIC","year_from":2022,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 350 E","year_from":2020,"year_to":2022,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 450E 4MATIC","year_from":2024,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"S 580 E","year_from":2023,"year_to":2023,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"S 580 E 4MATIC","year_from":2023,"year_to":2025,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
