When diagnosing non-operational Kia Connect concerns, under no circumstance should the DCU be swapped with a known good DCU from another vehicle. Doing so may result in inoperative Kia Connect services on either vehicle and may require the replacement of the known good DCU. If a DCU needs to be replaced, the recommendation is to always order a replacement unit (with the correct P/N) to ensure proper Kia Connect services operations using the newly installed/replaced DCU.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11022347-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11022347-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11022347","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"KIA","model":"CARNIVAL","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_kia_carnival"]},{"make":"KIA","model":"EV6","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_kia_ev6"]},{"make":"KIA","model":"EV9","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_kia_ev9"]},{"make":"KIA","model":"K4","year_from":2025,"year_to":2025,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2025_kia_k4"]},{"make":"KIA","model":"K5","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_kia_k5"]},{"make":"KIA","model":"SORENTO","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_kia_sorento"]},{"make":"KIA","model":"SPORTAGE","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_kia_sportage"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
