This may be due to a software to hardware correlation issue. This correlation issue has been fixed on the Ford servers. To correct this condition, download and run the \"BCM-Body Control Module Installation (PMI)\" application using the FDRS scan tool. If the PMI fails with an error stating \"check valid application failed\" and the self test shows the BCM responds negatively (purple color coding), replace the BCM with service part number NK4Z-15604-E or NK4Z-15604-F. Refer to Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 419-10.
