This is an as designed reaction to the \"VINERR\" message. In this condition functions such as WiFi, Wireless Apple CarPlay® and embedded Navigation will not work. \"VINERR\" will be displayed in the odometer if the IFCU and Electronic Control Module (ECM) are not seeing the same Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) in both modules. This can occur during module replacement, module swapping during testing, module updates or the installation of an aftermarket module.
