Refer to service library procedure and follow diagnosis steps. 2.- If failure still present, make sure all the switches', horn's, heated steering wheel, airbag's harness are properly connected and there is no corrosion or pinching, disconnect the switches & reconnect them, and reverify the issue. 3.- Verify if failure is still present, review if there is lack of communication between SCCM and BCM. For example, activate turn signals or wipers. 4.- Read at the BCM diagnosis session if BCM is receiving information from SCCM. Through diagnosis review if activation from horn, wipers or turn signal is requested and are working. 5.- Disconnect the SCCM fuse for around 30s,and repeat the previous steps to see if failure still present. 6.- Do a hard reset to BCM and evaluate if any DTC is set. Retest if failure still present. Review the active DTCs. 7.- Before replacing the SCCM disconnect it and reconnect it again. Note: Wipers position is not controlled by SCCM, verify motor wiper status if issue continues. If request from SCCM is sent to BCM, then verify if the communication to wipers is not working properly. If there are no DTC's active, physical defects, steering controls inop, wipers inop, heated steering wheel inop, then SCCM does not need to be replaced.\"","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11015964-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2025/MC-11015964-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/11015964","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"steering","name":"Steering","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"JEEP","model":"GRAND CHEROKEE","year_from":2021,"year_to":2025,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2021_jeep_grand-cherokee","2022_jeep_grand-cherokee","2023_jeep_grand-cherokee","2024_jeep_grand-cherokee","2025_jeep_grand-cherokee"]},{"make":"JEEP","model":"GRAND CHEROKEE 4XE","year_from":2021,"year_to":2025,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2021_jeep_grand-cherokee","2022_jeep_grand-cherokee","2023_jeep_grand-cherokee","2024_jeep_grand-cherokee","2025_jeep_grand-cherokee"]},{"make":"JEEP","model":"GRAND CHEROKEE L","year_from":2021,"year_to":2025,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2021_jeep_grand-cherokee-l","2022_jeep_grand-cherokee-l","2023_jeep_grand-cherokee-l","2024_jeep_grand-cherokee-l","2025_jeep_grand-cherokee-l"]},{"make":"JEEP","model":"GRAND WAGONEER","year_from":2022,"year_to":2025,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2022_jeep_grand-wagoneer","2023_jeep_grand-wagoneer","2024_jeep_grand-wagoneer","2025_jeep_grand-wagoneer"]},{"make":"JEEP","model":"WAGONEER","year_from":2022,"year_to":2025,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2022_jeep_wagoneer","2023_jeep_wagoneer","2024_jeep_wagoneer","2025_jeep_wagoneer"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
