This may be due to a HCM communication error within a specified timeframe. DTC U211B:87 does not affect vehicle durability with no effect on vehicle operation and no additional diagnostics or service is required for this condition at this time. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and engineering is currently working on a solution for this condition that is expected in Q2 2024. Replacement or reprogramming of the HCM will not resolve this condition. Monitor OASIS for additional information and schedule service appointments for customers once the repair becomes available.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10251941-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10251941-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10251941","components":[{"id":"air-bags","name":"Air bags","parent":null},{"id":"driver-assistance","name":"Driver assistance","parent":null},{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"blind-spot","name":"Blind spot detection","parent":"driver-assistance"}],"codes":["U211B"],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"F-150","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_ford_f-150"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
