It is critical that the battery state of charge (SOC) is above 70% before delivery to the customers. The Lincoln electronic pre-delivery inspection (ePDI) process should be fully completed, which includes battery state of charge checks. Do not utilize the ePDI IDS override function to bypass these checks. If SOC is below 70% the battery must be charged with the charger's negative clamp on an engine or chassis ground. Refer to the Warranty and Policy Manual, Section 2.9.00 Storage of New Vehicles for battery charging warranty guidelines.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10250836-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2024/MC-10250836-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10250836","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"LINCOLN","model":"NAUTILUS","year_from":2024,"year_to":2024,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2024_lincoln_nautilus"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
