As a result, a misfire could occur, followed by potentially reduced engine output, and illumination of the check engine Malfunction Indicator Lamp (‘MIL’). This may also cause exhaust emissions to increase. MBUSA will conduct a voluntary Emissions Recall Campaign in which an authorized Mercedes- Benz dealer will replace the ignition coils.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10241530-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10241530-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10241530","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG C43","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG C63","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG C63 S","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG CLA35","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG CLA45","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG G63","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLA35","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLA45","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLA45 S","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLC43","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLC63","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLC63 S","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLE43","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLE53","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLE63","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLE63 S","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"AMG GLS63","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"C 300","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"CLA 250","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"G 550","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLA 250","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLC 300","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLC 350 E","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 350","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 350 E","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 400 E","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 450","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLE 580","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLS450","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"GLS580","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-BENZ","model":"MAYBACH GLS600","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MERCEDES-MAYBACH","model":"GLS 600","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
