This may be due to a fault detected while in transport mode or a leak in the positive crankcase ventilation system. To correct the condition, deactivate transport mode, refer to WSM, Section 419-10. Perform a visual inspection of possible sources outlined in Workshop Manual (WSM), Section 303-08B pinpoint test (PPT) HG. Clear all DTCs, allow the vehicle to sit until engine coolant temperature is below 45°C (113°F). Start the vehicle and allow it to idle in park (P) for 1 minute. Using the appropriate scan tool, check for DTCs. If DTC P04DB returns, perform PPT HG in the WSM. WSM, Section 303-14B contains removal and installation instruction for the crankcase pressure sensor.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10236026-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10236026-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10236026","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null}],"codes":["P04DB"],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"BRONCO","year_from":2023,"year_to":2023,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2023_ford_bronco"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
