IMPORTANT: For repair or replacement, dealers are required to connect C-4 and perform “Diagnosis (All Systems)”. Performing C-4 “Diagnosis (All Systems)” is also required prior to contacting any Nissan call center (e.g., TECH-LINE, PCC, or WCC) for diagnostic support or claim pre-authorization. • For additional information regarding Automated Vehicle Data Collection, refer to WBP18-032. To support Automated Vehicle Data Collection, your C-4 must have the Customer vehicle diagnostic data collecting and sending function set to “Send automatically: Without confirmation”. If “Send automatically: Without confirmation” is not selected: • It may cause dealer consideration for Audit or the Anomalous Repair Control (ARC) program, where applicable. • It may result in the dealer not receiving reimbursement for warranty service. Refer to the SERVICE PROCEDURE on the next page to confirm your C-4 Customer vehicle diagnostic data collecting and sending function is set to “Send automatically: Without confirmation”.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10234089-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2023/MC-10234089-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10234089","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"NISSAN","model":"NISSAN","year_from":null,"year_to":null,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
