It is no longer required to replace the window assembly to repair this condition. Order the following buckle parts as needed: male side of the buckle (M2DZ-00817-C), which is located on the soft top window assemblies and the female side of the buckle (M2DZ-00817-A), which is located on the soft top cover. To install the male buckle, cut and remove the old plastic clip leaving the fabric loop (on the window assembly) fully intact. The service replacement male buckle includes an open slot that is used to slide the fabric loop through for installation.
