Over time, the accumulated de-icing agents/mud/dirt mixture could cause the fuel tank band mounts to corrode and separate from the frame. If this occurs, an unsecured fuel tank can become damaged from undercarriage impact, which can possibly result in fuel leakage. Inspect the rear frame for rust and corrosion, if needed, install the kit.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10222442-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10222442-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10222442","components":[{"id":"structure-body","name":"Body and frame","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"HONDA","model":"RIDGELINE","year_from":2006,"year_to":2014,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2006_honda_ridgeline","2007_honda_ridgeline","2008_honda_ridgeline","2009_honda_ridgeline","2010_honda_ridgeline","2011_honda_ridgeline","2012_honda_ridgeline","2013_honda_ridgeline","2014_honda_ridgeline"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
