This may be due to improper or poorly wrapped evaporator lines between the interior bulkhead and the climate control assembly case. Using a flashlight and a mirror, inspect the evaporator lines for being exposed or poorly wrapped. The cut ends of the mastic wrap should be on the top of the lines and have complete coverage. If an issue is found, cover the lines by manipulating the existing mastic wrap, or by adding more mastic to better insulate the lines and limit condensation.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10209218-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2022/MC-10209218-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10209218","components":[{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null},{"id":"visibility","name":"Glass, wipers and mirrors","parent":null},{"id":"hvac","name":"Heating and air conditioning","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"RANGER","year_from":2019,"year_to":2022,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2019_ford_ranger","2020_ford_ranger","2021_ford_ranger","2022_ford_ranger"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
