The problem currently only occurs at the driver's door. Cause Triggered by frequently opening and leaving the front doors open or frequently driving with an open window when it is raining, which results in water entering into the operating unit (window lifter). As this is a result of customer use, the replacement of the switch will not be covered under warranty. The switch cover will also not be covered under warranty as this is not a defect of the component. Remedy If the window switch is inoperable it will need to be replaced. Attach silicone cover trim over operating unit for sealing. Silicone trim has an adhesive strip and is affixed over operating unit.
