Over time, contamination (i.e. sand, dirt) on the SCR/AWD harness may cause wear on the harness wiring and insulation due to vibration of the SCR tank cover. In the worst-case scenario, the electrical circuits in the wiring harness can be disconnected with the MIL/SCR/4WD warning lights illuminating. Inspect the SCR/AWD harness for signs of damage. If the CORE WIRES inside the harness have no damage, protective shrink tubing will be installed on the harness.
