The ticking noise occurs when the purge system is in operation, the vibrations emitted from the purge valve are then amplified through the fuel pipes to the rear of the vehicle. This is normal operation and no further investigation work is required as the vehicle is operating to specification.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10201962-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10201962-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10201962","components":[{"id":"engine","name":"Engine","parent":null},{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null},{"id":"fuel-system","name":"Fuel system","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"BENTLEY","model":"FLYING SPUR","year_from":2020,"year_to":2022,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2020_bentley_flying-spur","2021_bentley_flying-spur","2022_bentley_flying-spur"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
