If the whistle noise can be eliminated by taping off the gap between the hood and grill opening, this condition may be due to the hood seal design. Hood seal replacement will not resolve this condition. Inform customers that they can continue to drive the vehicle and Ford is currently working to release an improved seal design that will be available in October 2021. Follow up with the customer to schedule an appointment once OASIS confirms part availability.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10199513-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10199513-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10199513","components":[{"id":"structure-body","name":"Body and frame","parent":null},{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"wiring","name":"Wiring and fuses","parent":"electrical"}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"FORD","model":"BRONCO","year_from":2021,"year_to":2021,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2021_ford_bronco"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
