The extended warranty was a result of the Takata airbag inflator class action settlement. Mazda will provide supplemental warranty coverage for all repairs and replacements (including parts and labor) to correct any defects in the materials or workmanship of Takata airbag inflators and the replacement inflators installed pursuant to the Takata airbag recalls. The program covers defects in the Inflator only and does not cover other items in the airbag system. Additionally, the program also does not cover airbags that have properly deployed as a result of a collision.","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10194661-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2021/MC-10194661-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10194661","components":[{"id":"air-bags","name":"Air bags","parent":null}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"MAZDA","model":"B-SERIES TRUCK","year_from":2004,"year_to":2009,"match":"base","vehicle_ids":["2004_mazda_b-series","2005_mazda_b-series","2006_mazda_b-series","2007_mazda_b-series","2008_mazda_b-series","2009_mazda_b-series"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"CX-7","year_from":2007,"year_to":2012,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2007_mazda_cx-7","2008_mazda_cx-7","2009_mazda_cx-7","2010_mazda_cx-7","2011_mazda_cx-7","2012_mazda_cx-7"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"CX-9","year_from":2007,"year_to":2015,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2007_mazda_cx-9","2008_mazda_cx-9","2009_mazda_cx-9","2010_mazda_cx-9","2011_mazda_cx-9","2012_mazda_cx-9","2013_mazda_cx-9","2014_mazda_cx-9","2015_mazda_cx-9"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MAZDA2","year_from":2011,"year_to":2014,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2011_mazda_mazda2","2012_mazda_mazda2","2013_mazda_mazda2","2014_mazda_mazda2"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MAZDA3","year_from":2010,"year_to":2013,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2010_mazda_mazda3","2011_mazda_mazda3","2012_mazda_mazda3","2013_mazda_mazda3"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MAZDA6","year_from":2003,"year_to":2013,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2003_mazda_mazda6","2004_mazda_mazda6","2005_mazda_mazda6","2006_mazda_mazda6","2007_mazda_mazda6","2008_mazda_mazda6","2009_mazda_mazda6","2010_mazda_mazda6","2011_mazda_mazda6","2012_mazda_mazda6","2013_mazda_mazda6"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MAZDASPEED6","year_from":2006,"year_to":2007,"match":null,"vehicle_ids":[]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"MPV","year_from":2004,"year_to":2006,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2004_mazda_mpv","2005_mazda_mpv","2006_mazda_mpv"]},{"make":"MAZDA","model":"RX-8","year_from":2004,"year_to":2011,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2004_mazda_rx-8","2005_mazda_rx-8","2006_mazda_rx-8","2007_mazda_rx-8","2008_mazda_rx-8","2009_mazda_rx-8","2010_mazda_rx-8","2011_mazda_rx-8"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
