TPMS ID registration can be performed using one of the following procedures: - Transmitter Activation tool (J-45295-A) with CONSULT-III plus (preferred method) - Signal Tech II (J-50190) with CONSULT-III plus NOTE: As of the publication date of this bulletin, Signal Tech II cannot be used on its own (without CONSULT-III plus) to perform TPMS registration. Software updates for Signal Tech II will be available at a later date. Use the TPMS ID registration instructions in this bulletin as needed. NOTE: Tire Pressure Sensor Activation Tool J-45295 will not work on the 2014 Q50 or Q50 Hybrid.
