If it is not positioned correctly it must be adjusted and corrected. On affected VIN’s if the silencer clamp is mounted incorrectly as shown in Fig.1 the clamp may come in contact with the protective sheathing on the rear brake line, the brake hose bracket or the swingarm during heavy compression of the suspension and with excessive payload.
