As software updates become available for new features, and/or patches, the software update screen (pop-up) shown in Figure 1 will automatically be displayed. Much like cell phone and computer updates, this is a normal feature which allows the user to choose when an update is downloaded. • It is recommended that while in dealer inventory and this pop-up appears, that “ Yes” is selected to provide the latest software version to the customer at delivery. NOTE: If the ignition is turned OFF in the middle of a download, it will automatically restart when the ignition is turned back ON. When one of the following is selected: Yes…..The pop-up is hidden and the download starts in the background. Later…The pop-up is hidden and displayed again in the next key cycle (after cold start).","document":{"url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10182364-0001.pdf","alternate_url":"https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2020/MC-10182364-9999.pdf","confirmed":false},"url":"https://open.wenmarpro.com/bulletins/10182364","components":[{"id":"electrical","name":"Electrical system","parent":null},{"id":"equipment","name":"Equipment and accessories","parent":null},{"id":"software","name":"Software","parent":"electrical"}],"codes":[],"topics":[],"vehicles":[{"make":"NISSAN","model":"ROGUE","year_from":2017,"year_to":2020,"match":"exact","vehicle_ids":["2017_nissan_rogue","2018_nissan_rogue","2019_nissan_rogue","2020_nissan_rogue"]}],"as_of":"2026-10-19","note":"A bulletin is a manufacturer's communication to its dealers, as NHTSA indexes it.
