If a transfer case is leaking from either the input or output seals, first check the fluid to confirm that it is not low, discolored, and/or has an abnormal smell. If the fluid condition indicates that the transfer case has been damaged, the transfer case should be replaced. If the fluid condition is ok, replace only the leaking seal. • Refer to the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for the appropriate seal replacement: TRANSMISSION & DRIVELINE > DRIVELINE > TRANSFER: TX91A.
