The Workshop Manual procedure for RKE programming is also being updated. Because these vehicles have a new generation body control module (BCM), replacement of the BCM is no longer the recommended repair procedure. Advise the customer they can continue to drive the vehicle and schedule a follow-up appointment for service in late August. Once the update becomes available, contact the customer and confirm the service appointment is going forward.
